Ozon
Swinda Oelke & Thea Mantwill
November 6 - 26, 2021
Opening: November 5, 2021 6pm
For their exhibition OZON, Swinda Oelke and Thea Mantwill have taken on seemingly insignificant scenes from everyday life and given them an appreciation through close observation, film documentation and written notes. The videos combine the detailed observation of man-made structures such as railway overheads, a tunnel construction site between Germany and Denmark, and bring them to life. At the same time, however, they also make it clear that these images are not permanent since human intervention in nature contributes to its constant change and climate change.
Visitors should be able to immerse themselves in the space in a new world, should take their time, explore the space as unfamiliar terrain and focus entirely on their perception and sensitize them again to the details of the surrounding environment.
Please respect the usual hygiene measures & 3G
